Good Neighbor Workshop — free scam awareness for community organizations

Good Neighbor Workshops

A free scam-awareness workshop for your community. No cost, no pitch, no strings attached.

What Is a Good Neighbor Workshop?

A 45-minute, in-person talk about the scams targeting older adults right now — led by John Riley, who spent 20+ years in federal cybersecurity, including managing operations for the IRS Computer Security Incident Response Center. Every attendee gets a printed take-home scam warning guide, and we stay after for one-on-one questions.

Good Neighbor Workshops are completely free. There is no sales pitch and nothing to buy. We do this because the people who need help most often can't afford it.

What We Cover

  • The scams targeting seniors right now
  • How to recognize phishing texts, emails, and calls
  • What to do if you or someone you know gets scammed
  • How to protect your accounts and devices
