Why we built Senior Tech Care — and why it matters.
It Started With a Phone
When phone companies started retiring landlines, millions of seniors across America were handed smartphones and told to figure it out. No training. No guidance. No one to call who wouldn't put them on hold for 45 minutes.
John's mother was one of them. She got a new smartphone. Nobody taught her how to use it. Her family — well-meaning but impatient — would tease her for not figuring it out faster. John works in IT and cybersecurity. He knew more about technology than almost anyone around him. And he realized, with real shame, that he had never thought to sit down and help her either.
That moment changed everything. Senior Tech Care was built so that no senior ever has to figure it out alone again — and no family member has to feel that regret.

District Tech Group is a local DC Metro technology company. Our background is in IT and cybersecurity — which means we understand not just how devices work, but how to keep them safe and protected from the threats seniors are most likely to encounter.
Our team is entirely local. We live and work in the DC Metro area. We specialize in working with older adults because we believe seniors deserve patient, trustworthy technology help that respects their time and intelligence.
We are not a call center. We are not a franchise. We are local people who genuinely care about the community we serve.
